Roles, Functions, Duties and Responsibilities
- Overall, in charge on barangay environmental programs, projects and activities.
- In charge on the maintenance, barangay beautification and cleanliness as mandated by the Republic Act 9003.
- Monitoring of barangay street sweepers on their day to day area operation and another specific task.
- Closed coordination with the Barangay Ecological Solid Waste Management Office (BESWMO) and Committee on Environment for possible plans and activities.
- Implementation of environmental programs, projects and activities.
- Coordination with the National and Local Government agencies like City Engineering’s Office, Parks and Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
- Maintenance of Material Recovery Facility including recyclable materials.
- Collection of recyclable materials.
- Regular meeting of street sweeper and other barangay environmental staff.
