Roles, Functions, Duties and Responsibilities
- To ensure the implementation of Gender and Development Focal-Point System or GFPS.
- Development of barangay gender response plan in addressing the gender-based violence including other support services.
- To ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the program implementation of the GAD Plans, PPAs and careful utilization of the GAD budget.
- Coordination with other offices/units/department on GAD related plan of actions.
- Recommend for possible revisions on policies for the advancement of women’s status and another marginalize sectors.
- Maintain the Gender and Development data-based system.
- Daily supervision of task and accomplishment.
- Lead person on gender mainstreaming programs, projects and activities (PPAs) including the assessment of gender-responses, structures, policies and
procedures. - Examine the programs and projects, using the monitoring tool and GAD Guidelines.
- Act as secretariat and organizer for the implementation of the GAD Plans.
- Prepare GAD plans, budget and accomplishment reports to be submitted on time at the DILG Quezon City Field Office and GAD Council Office.
- To represent the Punong Barangay on Gender and Development related meetings and consultations.
