Roles, Functions, Duties and Responsibilities
- To ensure the delivery basic social services for children
- To ensure the wellbeing and protection of children on rights, survival,
development, protection and community participation. - Coordination and linkaging with the National and Local agencies an strengthening of partnership.
- To promote the passage of the proposed barangay resolutions and ordinances promoting the children righ
- To supervise, improve a sustaining community participation on barangay programs, projects and activities for children.
- To ensure the implementation of Barangay Resolutions, and Ordinance
- Republic Act 7610 and Republic Act 9344 and other related laws.
- Daily monitoring and supervision of task and accomplishment of the staff.
- In charge on skills development of the staff.
- To represent the Punong Barangay for any meetings and consultations to addressed children’s rights and welfare.
- Maintenance of children’s data based.
- Assisting, referral, court appearance for BCPC Cases as attesting officer, and cases handler on RA 7610, and RA 9344 and other related children prote law
- To ensure the submission of annual accomplishment report of Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC) and to be submitted to the Barangay and
Community Relations Division (BCRD). - Act as secretariat, facilitator for the implementation of BCPC Programs, Projects an Activities.
